We Accept:
Women’s clothing and accessories in current styles, such as those purchased or received within the last 12 to 24 months
- Career Clothing, Sportswear, After Five – Including Furs
- Purses, Shoes, Belts, Scarves & Jewelry
- Better & Designer Labels
Condition of Clothing:
Please have everything on hangers! Be sure that everything is freshly washed or cleaned & pressed. Check for rips, stains, pulls, missing buttons, etc. These problems will prevent us from being able to accept the item. Remember, the better it looks – the more money you make!
Sorry, but clothing in bags or boxes cannot be considered.
Commission:
The consignor receives a 90 day contract. An email listing all of the items to be sold & the listed selling price is sent to the consignor. Consignor receives 50% of the selling price. After the first 30 days we have the right to reduce any item by small amounts to enable it to sell.
If you wish to pick up your items that have not sold, please call at least 3 days prior to the expiration date of the contract in order for us to have your items ready. At the end of 90 days, any items that are not sold or picked up become the property of Second Act, Inc. (unless other arrangements have been made).
Consignment Days:
We accept clothing, by appointment only, 6 days a week; Monday thru Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday can be very busy, so if it is possible to come on another day, we would suggest that alternative. Please call to schedule a time that is convenient for you.
Change of Seasons:
We accept Spring & Summer items beginning in February and Fall & Winter items beginning in August. Please call for more precise dates.
